Makes about 40
420 gr./15 oz. /3 cups All-Purpose flour
200 gr./7 oz. /1 cup Caster Sugar
240 ml./1 cup Raw Tahini
200 gr./7 oz. Soft Unsalted Butter
10 gr./ 2 tsp Baking Powder
- Preheat the oven to 180°c/350°F/4 Gas. Line two large baking sheets with baking parchment.
- Put all ingredients in a mixer bowl with a dough hook attachment, and stir until dough unifies and just forms a ball.
- Shape into walnut-size balls, about 40ish…, and place on the baking sheets, spacing well apart.
- Bake for 12 minutes. Not a minute more!
The Tahini cookies are quite fragile,,, and tend to crumble. So be patient, and let them cool COMPLETLEY before you transfer them out of the baking sheets.
Store them in an airtight container and enjoy them with a good hot cup of black coffee, tastes best with good company around
