Food
How can we talk about Israeli gifts without speaking about Israeli food? Israeli food has become increasingly popular in recent years throughout the world and for good reason. With such fresh and unique products, people worldwide love receiving Israeli food products to use in their home kitchens, in an effort to make the most authentic Israeli food possible. Israeli food comes from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures, telling the authentic story of the Israeli melting pot.

Beauty products
Israel is not only gorgeous, but home to a wide range of natural resources and foods that have become the basis for our market of wonderful beauty products. From Dead Sea salts and mud to olive oil based soaps, Israel’s beauty products tell the story of our wonderful nature, and make you look and feel great!

Israeli art
One of the most popular gifts from Israel is Israeli art. Today, Israeli art spans a large range of styles and types, including of course, a wide range of Judaica. From small Judaica pieces such as mezuzahs or candle sticks, to larger menorahs, paintings and wall art, there is Israeli art that is suitable for all styles and all budgets.

Israel’s most symbolic & authentic items

While the list of best Israeli gifts is seemingly never-ending, I’ve rounded up some of my top ideas and Israeli treats.

  • Olive oil – Israeli is known for its top of the line olive oil, coming from the olive trees lining the roads of the country. As a well known product that is used throughout the world, anyone who likes to cook will love receiving a bottle of olive oil (and also olives themselves!) from a small Israeli business.
  • Halva – Oh, Halva… I don’t know almost any visitors to Israel that don’t stock up on a stash of halva and take it home with them. If you don’t know halva, it’s a sweet sesame based treat in a wide variety of flavors (nuts, chocolate, or just plain!) that is a perfect snack, addition to your Israeli breakfast, topping for ice cream, and more!
  • Honey – We can’t speak about gifts from the land of milk and honey without adding honey to our list! Not only is Israeli honey delicious, it’s super healthy and brings with it the story of the land of Israel that Israelis have been working on for generations.

  • Dates and silan – A wide range of dates are grown in Israel which can be sent as a wonderful gift throughout the world. From dates, Israelis make silan, a great alternative to honey or maple syrup, adding a sweet Israeli touch to any dish.
Check out our blog for great recipes featuring dates and silan!
  • Hamsa/Evil eye – Did you know that the Middle Eastern symbol Hamsa protect against the evil eye? Hamsas can be used to decorate homes, as jewelry, and more. Traditionally blue, Israeli artists today have taken hamsas in new directions, adding artistic twists and new interpretations.
  • Rimon artwork – One of the most famous symbols of Israel today is the rimon (pomegranate). While it’s possible to send an actual rimon to someone, it’s much more fun to send rimon artwork. From beautiful decorative pieces, to toothpick holders, Judaica and more, you can find a wide range of Israeli art today featuring this famous symbol.
  • Hebrew language artwork – Do we have anything more special than our own language that dates back to the biblical age? As Israelis we are proud of our language and there is a wide range of great Israeli gifts featuring Hebrew letters, sayings and words. Artwork, coasters, jewelry, paintings, Judaica, mugs, and even foods are just some of the options displaying our special language that are all great gifts.
  • Dead Sea mud and soap– I personally believe that every person in the world must visit the Dead Sea at least once in their lives. There’s something so powerful about the lowest place on Earth. Whether you’re visiting the Dead Sea yourself or looking for a truly Israeli gift, Dead Sea muds or soaps are the way to go. With healing properties unique to the area, everyone I know loves getting a soap or mask from the area.
